It was one of the funniest things for me when I first moved to Puerto Varas. To see how all the people of Puerto Varas love to eat ice cream even if its freezing out side. I can now say im finally one of these people, as the ice cream served at Pudu is unbelievably scrumptious. They use the milk from the farm Fundo playa venado, seems like every product I try that come from this farm is delicious.
A day without ice cream was a day wasted.
You can find them in the center of Puerto Varas on the road called Santa Rosa. They are open most days from 11:00 - 20:00. Although they are bit pricey, the portion is generous and the ice cream is exquisite. I highly recommend getting some ice cream here at Helados Pudú. They have a range of flavours but to be honest my hands down favorite is the yoghurt and sesame seed, I just cant get enough of it.
